Your Purchase Details

By purchasing a course from PLAYSAFE SKILLS, you ("the Customer") agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

This Agreement is a legal contract between the Customer and PLAYSAFE SKILLS. The Customer accepts this Agreement by making a purchase, placing an order, or otherwise shopping on the Site. The terms and conditions of this Agreement may change without prior notice. However, the terms posted at the time of purchase or order modification will govern that transaction.

By visiting, browsing, shopping, accessing, or using this Site, the Customer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, and will comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If the Customer does not agree with these Terms, they should not use the Site. The content on this Site is protected by law, including Canadian copyright laws.

Deadlines

It is your sole responsibility to meet all deadlines regarding your PLAYSAFE SKILLS courses. You agree that PLAYSAFE SKILLS is not responsible in any circumstances whatsoever if you miss a deadline or do not meet the PLAYSAFE SKILLS requirements for your profession for any reason, including slow response times, technical problems, or anything else. PLAYSAFE SKILLS cannot guarantee that we will be able to assist you in time if you leave things until the last minute.

Technical problems are unpredictable. PLAYSAFE SKILLS strives to provide the necessary customer service and technical support to complete your purchase, course(s), course knowledge assessment(s), and certificate(s) on time, but cannot predict when a technical or other problem could interfere with your completion of your course(s).

You should ensure you receive your certificate(s) at least two business days prior to your deadline.

Content

The opinions, information, and views expressed in each course are the responsibility of the featured speaker or author. PLAYSAFE SKILLS and its affiliates, partners, and suppliers accept no liability for losses sustained as a result of content delivered or implied by the speakers and authors or information they included on the website.

Limitations to Viewing

Once payment has been received, the Customer will have access to each purchased course in their user dashboard.
The course can be stopped, paused, and started repeatedly once it is opened without affecting future viewing.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that they have watched all videos from start to finish.
PLAYSAFE SKILLS certificates will be available via download after all videos are fully viewed and the knowledge assessment is passed.

Authorization

The Customer assumes complete responsibility for having viewed the course videos in their entirety. All registrants must pass an online knowledge assessment to receive their Certificate.

Certificate

The Certificate will be generated based on the information provided by the Customer during the registration process. The Certificate can't be issued with the information of anyone but the Customer. It is the Customer’s responsibility to retain the Certificate and/or supporting documents.

PLAYSAFE SKILLS grants the Customer a limited license to access and make personal use of the Site. The Customer is prohibited from altering, copying, downloading (except for caching purposes), linking to, or modifying the Site content in a manner that interferes with the content, operation, or maintenance of the PLAYSAFE SKILLS website. The Customer is granted a limited, revocable, and non-exclusive right to create a hyperlink to the home page of the Site as long as the link does not portray PLAYSAFE SKILLS, its affiliates, or their products or services in a false, misleading, derogatory, or otherwise offensive manner. All PLAYSAFE SKILLS graphics, logos, and trademarks are the exclusive property of PLAYSAFE SKILLS and may not be used without express written permission of PLAYSAFE SKILLS. All material comprising the Site is under copyright or trademark by PLAYSAFE SKILLS or by various third parties represented on the Site. Under no circumstances shall any of the material comprising the Site be copied, displayed, distributed, downloaded, posted, reproduced, republished, or transmitted in any form or by any means. To obtain authorization to reuse any part of the site, including videos and any course content, please contact us at info@playsafeproductions.com. The Customer is allowed to copy, distribute, display, and download the contents of the website provided it is unaltered and for personal, non-commercial use. A breach of any of these restrictions will result in a denial of service to the Customer.

Refunds

PLAYSAFE SKILLS will refund any purchase in its entirety within 30 days of the purchase date, provided that the course has not been started. Once a course is started, no refunds will be given. To request a refund, please contact us at info@playsafeproductions.com. A refund of the purchase price is the sole remedy and limitation of liability accepted by PLAYSAFE SKILLS, its speakers, affiliates, partners, and suppliers.

Registration

The password created to access a course is confidential to the person registering for that course. That password must not be disclosed to others. Disclosure or transfer of that password to a third party will result in cancellation without refund of the initial Customer’s purchase. Registration with PLAYSAFE SKILLS signifies the Customer's acceptance of the Terms and Conditions outlined on this website.

Privacy

Registration details will not be shared by any means with any third party by PLAYSAFE SKILLS. PLAYSAFE SKILLS ascribes in its entirety to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. PLAYSAFE SKILLS collects information from the Customer to transact business only. PLAYSAFE SKILLS does not release any information that is retained for transactional purposes to third parties.

The Customer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address is used for identification and verification purposes and to help PLAYSAFE SKILLS diagnose problems that may arise with the Site or server. PLAYSAFE SKILLS does not use Customer IP addresses for any other purpose.

The data that the Customer willingly provides to PLAYSAFE SKILLS, such as Customer name, address, e-mail address, and telephone number, is retained for announcements, contests, coupons, invitations, memberships, newsletters, rewards, special sales, and super discounts, if they should be offered or provided. PLAYSAFE SKILLS also retains Customer names and contact data to help PLAYSAFE SKILLS resolve business issues that may occur on occasion.

Security

PLAYSAFE SKILLS relies on Stripe for payment processing. Stripe protects financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. You can learn about the security provided by Stripe at www.stripe.com.

PLAYSAFE SKILLS is an encrypted Site and is transaction secure. All liability for Site security is the express responsibility of the Site encryption provider.

The Customer is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Customer’s account and password. The Customer agrees to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under the Customer's account or password.

Changes to Site

PLAYSAFE SKILLS may, at its discretion, make changes to its website, including course availability and pricing, without notification.

Interruptions to Service

PLAYSAFE SKILLS, like all website services, may experience an interruption to the provision of its website beyond its control. Interruptions to service experienced by Customers due to technical problems with their website service provider will not be the responsibility of PLAYSAFE SKILLS.

Disclaimer

Use of the PLAYSAFE SKILLS website is at the risk of the Customer. PLAYSAFE SKILLS makes no warranties that access to this website will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors. PLAYSAFE SKILLS also accepts no responsibility for damage to a registrant’s computer or mobile device caused by the video files.

Termination of Service

PLAYSAFE SKILLS reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at its discretion.

Stated Limited Liability

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, NEGLIGENCE, SHALL PLAYSAFE SKILLS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF DATA OR PROFIT, ARISING OUT OF THE USE, OR THE INABILITY TO USE, THE MATERIALS ON THIS SITE. IF CUSTOMER USE OF MATERIALS FROM THIS SITE RESULTS IN THE NEED FOR COMPUTER SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION OF EQUIPMENT OR DATA, THE CUSTOMER ASSUMES ANY COSTS THEREOF.

Other Disclaimers and Liabilities

PLAYSAFE SKILLS reserves the right to undertake price changes, product representation, rectification of advertising errors, and any other similar situations. While every effort is made to keep the content of the Site accurate and current, PLAYSAFE SKILLS does not warrant the accuracy of Site content; neither does it assume any liability or responsibility for errors or omissions regarding the content of the Site.

PLEASE NOTE THAT PLAYSAFE SKILLS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS, OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY CLAIM BY ANY THIRD PARTY EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY PROVIDED HEREIN. PLAYSAFE SKILLS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR PRODUCTS OR SERVICES BEING UNAVAILABLE FOR USE, OR FOR LOST OR CORRUPTED DATA OR SOFTWARE. THE CUSTOMER AGREES THAT FOR ANY LIABILITY RELATED TO THE PURCHASE OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES, PLAYSAFE SKILLS IS NOT LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AMOUNT OF DAMAGES ABOVE THE AGGREGATE DOLLAR AMOUNT PAID BY THE CUSTOMER FOR THE PURCHASE(S) UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.

Entire Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Customer and PLAYSAFE SKILLS relating to the purchase or sale of goods or services on the Site. The Agreement may only be modified or terminated with regard to goods or services that have been purchased or sold on the Site in writing. Valid electronic records and signatures shall be accepted under the Agreement. The Customer consents to receiving electronic records, which may be provided via a web browser or e-mail application connected to the Internet. In the event of any conflict between the terms and conditions stated on this Agreement or any terms and conditions on a PLAYSAFE SKILLS-generated invoice, the Customer agrees that the provisions of this Agreement and the PLAYSAFE SKILLS invoice shall prevail.

Governing Law

THIS AGREEMENT AND ALL SALES HEREUNDER SHALL BE GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE PROVINCE OF ONTARIO, CANADA.
